The 2010 Speakers and Leaders About them Bob & Ellen Stamps Camp speakers Bob Stamps was ordained in 1966 through the United Methodist Church and has served as chaplain of Oral Roberts University and as pastor of congregations across the United States. He has a BA from Wheaton College and an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary. He has also studied at the University of Edinburgh, as well as Garrett Theological Seminary. He is the author of several published hymns, the connoisseur of great music, and is a student of the War Between the States. His practical talks about the spiritual journey of Christ's followers are sure to encourage and inspire. For a sample of Bob's talks, click onto the link at the bottom of this bio.  Ellen Stamps had anticipated that she would be a missionary, but God had other plans-in 1967, she was asked by Corrie ten Boom, evangelist and author of The Hiding Place, to become her nurse, secretary and traveling companion. Ellen has written an account of their life and travels together: My Years with Corrie, published in 1978. After serving with Corrie for more than eight years, Ellen met, fell in love with, and married Bob in 1976. They have a son and a daughter and continue in ministry in  Richmond, Virginia. Speakers Talks Seth Swinson Youth Leader Seth is an experienced CFO leader in worship and rythyms and now as a youth leader. He brings music, humor and a passion for Christ to whatever ministry he leads. His desire is to lead by example and to step out beyond his comfort zone and go deeper in Christ! We are super excited to have him return as our youth leader again this year. Katie Klinect       Youth Leader Katie Klinect is a college student majoring in Early Education. She accepted Christ at an early age and has been growing in him ever since. Her desire is to see youth and young adults passionately in love with Jesus and spreading that passion into a lost and dying world. Katie is also returning from last year as a youth leader and we look forward to her ministry with the teens. Paul Klinect Children's Leader As the father of 11 kids, Paul Klinect is an experienced children's leader and teacher. His desire is to help kids see that the glory of God is reflected in all of life. He incorporates nature walks, crafts and "camp" type activities to help kids learn about our Creator and his great love for us. Julie Bullard Children's Leader Julie Bullard will be leading the children with crafts and activities during the evening sessions. Julie is a homeschool mom of four and a former school teacher. She does an awesome job planning activities that are fun but also teach Biblical truths. Bobby Bullard   Praise and Worship Leader Bobby Bullard will again lead us in praise and worship. He is the father of four (many of whom will be on stage with him) and the leader of King's Kids- Next Generation. His desire is to encourage families to worship together and to help raise up the next generation of praise and worship leaders.
