What to Bring to Camp
The facilities are similar to a motel. The rooms are air-conditioned but may not be as cold as you would like them to be. Bed linens and towels and washcloths for the rooms are furnished. Three meals a day are served cafeteria-style and are included in the fees.
There is a lake available for campers to swim, fish, canoeing, and more. If you wish to swim, bring bathing suit(s), towels, and other appropriate accessories. There is also a large field which has a playground, a basketball court, a tennis court, a backstop to play baseball, a volleyball net, and an open area to play other games.
Attire should be comfortable, casual, and conservative. Shorts and sandals are permitted. No bathing suits or bare feet are allowed in the dining hall. You are encouraged to bring a musical instrument with which you have some measure of proficiency. No radios, televisions, skate boards, handheld electronic games, or playing cards, please.
Accommodations are on various leveles. There are rooms for handicapped persons. The distances between the lodging rooms, cafeteria, and activity rooms are relatively short.
As always, please feel free to contact the Chairperson, Nanette Klinect, if you need more information
